Rc Crawler Course Ideas - I have been searching around for ideas and materials for making scale courses and just thought id throw em out there for all to see. Aside from having fun, my sad little back yard crawler course gives me repeatable lines to run of varying difficulties, which allows me to judge the effects of my tuning. In the center is a circle of dirt roughly 30 ft in diameter. I'm just wondering about some things, or want some feedback. My plans are to have a course that is 18 wide and 8' long. Given that concrete is out, you might consider some pavers to mellow out some of the harder lines. Restaurants will give them away if you ask. I then cut than in half so now i have 2 18x48 pieces. Ok i was in my shop burning stuff and found that if you use a propane torch on some construction foam from lowes you can make some cool crawler course boards that can be put away and set up easily. I will be using a tlt size rig or smaller.
