14 Day Emt Course

14 Day Emt Course - I've run across unitek college training; This is a bit faster than most i've seen but i know a lot of the local places offer it to college students during the summer months usually a month and a half monday thru friday, 8hrs a day 14 days of emt school seems a bit quick and i can't speak for said programs but. I observed yesterday and 75% of the class was from out of state so there is bound to be someone in here familiar with the book. It is my opinion that they would be cranking out nremt's that really didn't know much. We have run this program for almost 3 years. I've also found a training. If you're going to short cut your way through education, how can we trust you won't do that with patient care? I live in oklahoma city, ok fyi. Does anyone happen to know the book used for the 14 day boot camp emt course at unitek in fremont, ca. In my opinion the student is better served 8 hours a day for 14 days in a row.versus 3/4 hours per night for 2 nights a week for months.

Now, i'm in the navy, and the navy offers this type of training also, and coincidentally, also happens to be about two weeks, give a few days maybe. I thought this was amusing if not rediculous. I completely forgot to ask about the book because i am sure i can get it cheaper online.
